George Griffin

He was a retired insurance broker with the firm of Fred S. James and a long-time resident of Scituate, Massachusetts.

He is the son of the late George J. Griffin, Sr., and Gladys Griffin.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Libbie” Griffin; six children, Patricia Lombardi and husband, Thomas, of Atlanta, Thomas M. Griffin of Philadelphia, John P. Griffin and wife, Devdra, of Portland, Maine, George J. Griffin, III and wife, Marie, of Alexandria, Virginia, Michael E. Griffin of Grapevine, Texas and Timothy R. Thompson and wife, Skyla, of Westland, Michigan; twelve grandchildren: Andrew Lombardi, Christopher Thompson, Nicholas Lombardi, Alexander Thompson, Caleb Lombardi, Lydia Lombardi, Benjamin Griffin, Jacob Griffin, Patrick Griffin, Charles Griffin, Sarah Thompson, and Colin Thompson. He is also survived by his life friend, Marlene Colla.

The family plans a memorial service in Scituate, Massachusetts at a later date.
