James "Jaimie" George Gorman

Jaimie served in the Navy during WWII. He retired from DuPont after many years as a research chemist in their fabric division.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of almost 70 years, Martha ("Marti”) Gorman of New Bern, his son, Gregory Thomas Gorman of Pennsylvania, his daughter, Tracy Gorman Price of New Bern, his “other daughter”, Lisa Ann Miller of Connelly Springs, NC, and his granddaughters, Kelly Gorman of California and Jamie Gorman Qarghah of Colorado.

He is predeceased by his father, James Francis Gorman, his mother, Elizabeth Gorman, and his sister, Ellen (“Tif””) Gorman Hershkowitz.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Craven County Hospice.

To honor Jaimie's wishes, there will be no funeral service. We know that he is with us all in spirit. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
