James "Joe" Moore, III

He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and he served his country in the U.S. Navy.

Joe is survived by his wife Lois Taylor Moore, two sons, Gregory K. Moore and fiance’ Bonnie Boone of Pensacola, FL; Christopher Glenn and wife Robin of Kure Beach, NC; two daughters, Lisa Lavoie and husband Russell of Pickerington, OH; Annie M. Thurman and husband Jason of New Bern; one brother, Franklin Moore, four sisters, Patricia M. Witter of Wallace; Roni Carpenter of Savannah, GA; Nancy Tisinger of Raleigh; Kathy Futch of Elon; six grandchildren, Gina Carlson, Whitney Glenn, Kelsey Glenn, Catherine Lavoie, Emilee Thurman and Matt Lavoie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his “adopted” children.

Memorial Service will be held Tuesday 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dave Witter officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the Memorial service.
