Janice Rae (Williams) Brothers

Janice Rae Williams Brothers, 83, of New Bern went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 8, 2022. Janice was born in Craven County, North Carolina on January 28, 1939 to the late David Samuel Williams and Mattie Letha Buck Williams.

Janice loved the Lord and was a devoted Christian. She enjoyed racing cars in her youth, cooking, and going to the shooting range. She loved to sew and quilt. Before she was unable you could find her in the kitchen cooking. Janice loved people and never knew a stranger. She will be known by all by her sarcastic sense of humor and some in her family consider her to be the “White Madea”

She is survived by her daughters; Janice Philipp, Wendy Delavergne (Mitch), Debra Borden (Ray), and Tonya Cornwell, sons; Thomas Lester Jenkins, Jr., and Richard Jenkins, sister, Rosa Yarborough, twin brothers, Bobby and Billy Williams, foster brother, Melvin Cauley and many many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her son, Tim Curtis Jenkins sisters; Dorothy Phillips, Della Higgins, and Doris Beckwith, and brother, Joseph Williams.
