Janice Taylor Clark, 76, of New Bern, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Friday, September 22nd, 2017 with her family by her side. A loving wife and mother, Janice loved working in her yard, going to auctions, collecting antiques and volunteering with the annual Shriner's Fish Fry before her health declined. She enjoyed a successful career with Carolina Telephone / Sprint, retiring with 38 years of service.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Glen Clark, Sr.; son, Glen Clark, Jr.; sister, Jane Taylor Moore; and two grandchildren, Steven M. Clark and Cherith J. Clark. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her son, Newman W. Clark and brothers, Walter Taylor, Eugene Taylor, and Lloyd Taylor.
Memorial service will be 7 p.m. Sunday, September 24th at Cotten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
