Jerry Gardner, 75, of Fairfield Harbour passed away peacefully Oct. 6th at his home.
Jerry was a US Air Force veteran and a retiree of Lorillard Tobacco Co. in Greensboro, NC. He enjoyed sailing the waterways of eastern North Carolina and was past Commodore of the High Rock Yacht Club.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn. Two sons: Tim and wife Beverly of Trinity, NC; Brad and wife Sandra of Boise, Id.; sister, Darlene McPeak of Mebane,NC; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
At his request, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Craven County Hospice, Craven County Health Dept. Foundation, P.O. Box 12610, New Bern, NC 28561. Make check payable to: Craven Co. Health Dept. Foundation.
