He served his country in the U.S. Navy and retired after 26 years, two months and ten days of service. He attended Trenton United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Inez Koonce Nobles; one daughter, Patsy Banks Mallard; one sister, Alma Collins of Coatsville, PA; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Trenton UMC. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
