She was born in Knotaway County, VA, and raised in Fairfax, VA. June relocated to New Bern approximately 1970. She worked at both Weyerhaeuser and Lowe’s. She was a member of Garber United Methodist Church.
She is predeceased by her father and mother Yancy Martin and Helen Martin of Fairfax, VA; her brother B.Y. Martin, Jr. of Fairfax, VA; and her husband Doyle Fletcher of New Bern.
She is survived by her sisters Patricia Gibson of Charlottesville, Va and Kadra Bradford of Washington, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 2014 at 3:30 pm at Cotten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
