She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and a resident of Fairfield Harbour where she retired as a mail carrier.
She is survived by her children, Kathy Krapf of New Bern; Michael Onufer of Wilmington; and Eric Onufer of New Bern; one brother, Jerome Christ of New York and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 9:00 am Friday, February 22, 2013 at St. Paul Catholic Church, followed by a mass at 10:00 am.
