He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and he was a Mason. He is preceded in death by two sons, George A. Cronier and Leslie A. Cronier, Jr.
He is survived by his son, Dan J. Cronier of Ernul; three daughters, Leslie Ricks of Pollocksville; Laura Bennett of New Bern; Margaret McCormick of Pleasant Mount, PA; one brother, Philip Cronier of Manchester, NH; one sister, Claudia Cronier of Lexington, MA; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, May 8, 2014 at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
