Lillian Robertha Knox

Visitation will be held at Cotten Funeral Home on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the High Bridge Cemetery in the Caton community officiated by Rev. Douglas Case.

Lillian is the daughter of the late John Bryan and Christine Knox, born in the Caton Community of Craven County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil E. Toler; son, Glenn E. Toler; daughter, Tina Andrea Toler; grandson, Allen Gregory “Greg” Toler, Jr.; as well as sisters, Johnnie Knox, Shirley Knox Batson and Joyce Knox Ipock.

She is survived by her daughter, Tara Toler Brocklesby of New Bern; sons, Allen Gregory Toler Sr. (Phyllis) of New Bern, Francis Knox Toler (Vicki) of Wilson's Mills, NC; grandchildren, Christopher B. Toler, John Tyler Brocklesby (Hannah), Paula Toler Penuel (James); great grandchildren, Michael Toler, Victoria Toler Gremmel (Austin), Juliet Rose Toler, Jacob Toler, Kayla LaRue, Corbin Penuel; great-great grandchild, Eden Rose Gremmel.
