

A devoted member of Ruth's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church throughout her life, Linda lived her faith daily through her service and kindness. She was an active part of the church community, serving faithfully as a Sunday School teacher, working in the nursery, and participating in the bus ministry. Her love for children and heart for ministry left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Linda had a passion for travel and a deep appreciation for art, often finding joy in exploring new places and expressing creativity.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Danny Watson and parents, Haynes and Mable Spence.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving daughters, Mable Yaeger and husband Paul, and Crystal Abbott and husband James; her brother, Ralph Spence; sister, Jennie Pappas; grandchildren, Mary Katherine McEntire and husband Devin, and Makayla Abbott; and her great-grandson, Raylan McEntire; along with many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Kacie and Shyla of Liberty Hospice for all the love, care, and comfort they provided our mom and family.
The family will receive friends at Cotten Funeral Home on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Lowland Cemetery.
