Lisa Gay Johnston

Lisa was born in Wake County, North Carolina on April 10, 1965. She graduated from Arendell Parrot Academy in Kinston and North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science.

Lisa will be remembered for her love of animals, particularly dogs and horses. She was also gifted with artistic abilities and loved expressing her creativity through drawing and photography.

Lisa is survived by her son Jason Dylan Gawel, mother Glenda Wiggins, and step-sister Missy Wiggins Phelps (Bobby). She is  predeceased by her father William “Jack” Johnston, and step-father Robert Allen Wiggins.

The family will hold a private graveside service to inter her remains.
