She is predeased by her parents Thomas and Pannie Barnes and a brother T.L. Barnes. Marjorie was a resident of Nashville, NC.
Surviving are daughters, Beth Ford of Reidsville, Debbie White ( William) of Cape Carteret, Sue Wall (Dan) of Raleigh and Jenny Strange (Danny) of New Bern; sisters, Alice Woodruff of Tarboro and Betty Temple of Alexandria, VA. ; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Cotten Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10:30 to 11:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
