

She was a member of Bridgeton Free Will Baptist Church.
Mary is preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter.
Mary is survived by her husband, Charles C. Laughinghouse; three daughters: Sandie Cooper and husband Daniel of Greeneville, Tenn., Lisa Ipock and husband Lewis of Goldsboro, and Sheila Jarman of Jacksonville; two brothers, Jack Wimberley and wife Barbara Jean of Durham, Joel Wimberley and wife Sylvia of Durham; one sister, Betty Hurst of Durham; grandchildren Susan McAviney and husband Chris of Missouri, Tim Cooper and wife Laura of VA, Steven Cooper and fiancé Courtney Monteith of AL, David Cooper of TN, Ethan and Charlie Ipock, both of Goldsboro, Katie Branaman and fiancé Henry Mejia of CA; great grandson Andrew Damian Mejia, CA.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Cotten Chapel with Rev. Jerry Rackley officiating. Interment will be in New Bern Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Cotten Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
