Mary "Sister" Gibson

She was a member of Antioch Free Will Baptist Church where she was involved in activities in her younger years. She owned and operated Sister’s Fashions downtown New Bern. She loved working in her yard and her Yorkies, traveling with her husband George in their RV with their friends Julia and Leonard Gatlin. She enjoyed hosting friends and family on different occasions.

She is predeceased by her husband, George Gibson; son, Thomas Ray Fulcher and her brother, Charlie Gibson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Cotten Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1:00pm March 30, 2022 at Cotten Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Bern Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by her brother, Tommy Gibson of New Bern; grandchildren, Kelly Fulcher and Blake Fulcher; great grandchildren, Brayson, Landyn, RayLynn, Thomas and Sophia.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Colonial Capital Humane Society.
