She is preceded in death by her first husband, Spurbie Eugene Sneeden, her second husband, Marvin Parsons Waters, one son, Bradford Lee Sneeden and a son in-law, Guy Lupton.
Mary is survived by her son, David Sneeden and wife Rhonda of Trent Woods; her daughter, Linda Sneeden Lupton of Raleigh; one sister, Anita Faye Poteete of Chicago, IL; a daughter in-law, Carolyn Mayo Sneeden of Cary; her grandchildren, Chastity Lin Lupton, Chad Eugene Sneeden, Bradford Lee Sneeden, Jr., Keith Alan Sneeden, Adam Brent Sneeden, Olivia Sneeden McCall and her great-grandchildren, Catherine Lin Lupton, Skylar Lee Lupton and Harper Elice Sneeden.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at New Bern National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brad Sneeden Memorial Fund, Inc., 302 Glen Abbey Dr., Cary, NC 27513. This funds the Marine Science Academy and college scholarships.
