Michael "Mike" Ray Bryant

Michael "Mike" Ray Bryant, 52, of New Bern, passed away at his home on Friday, March 11, 2022. Mike was born in Bertie County, North Carolina on November 3, 1969 to Michael Donnie Bryant and Betty Bryant.

Mike loved the water. He enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach, reading, cooking, and boats. Mike spent his career working on electrical components on yachts, boats, small engines, etc. He liked to watch boat races. He will be missed in the kitchen and by the grill, Mike was an amazing cook. He liked to entertain with cookouts. In addition to cooking good food, Mike enjoyed finding and eating good food during his travels. Mike loved and cherished his daughter, Jessica. But most of all Mike loved Diane he never ceased to tell her he loved her all the time. He enjoyed spending time with her enjoying life together. Mike was a quiet man but had a big presence and a great sense of humor. Those who knew and loved him will miss his presence.

Mike is survived by the love of his life, Diane Carraway, his beloved daughter, Jessica Ahmad and her husband, Joseph, brother Donnie Bryant and his wife, Pam and his mother, Betty Bryant. He is predeceased by his father, Michael Donnie Bryant.
