She was a lifetime member of Cornerstone Assembly of God Church. Momma was passionate about God, caring for her family, cooking, and listening to old time gospel music.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Bennett Sr. and survived by her four children; Wanda Mullis, Barbara Wilmoth (Tom), Rev. Johnny Watford (Bonnie), Glenda Ireland (Linwood); ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She also leaves behind two brothers; Wilber (Cleo) and Clarence Tippett, sister in law Doris Tippett, brother in law, Paul Rhodes; a large loving extended family, as well ass many lifelong friends.
Services will be held at Cornerstone Assembly of God church, 2304 Hwy 70E, New Bern, NC, on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 6:30pm.
