He is preceded in death by sons Philip and Timothy Phillips; daughter Ann Marie Phillips; grandson David Allen Morton; and sister Beverly Mannolini.
Philip is survived by wife Edith M. Phillips; three daughters Kathleen Kelly, Beverly Munson, Cynthia Knowles all of Havelock; eight grandchildren Sharon, Jamie, Benjamin, Timothy, Zackary, J.T., Andrew and Andre; two great grandchildren Hayden and Sophia.
Family will receive friends at Cotten Funeral Home Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial service will be held at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church in Havelock Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church at 1100 East Main Street, Havelock, NC 28532.
