Richard (Pops) Schreiber is survived by his wife Mildred of 62 years and daughter, Ivy Hernandez, her children, Nancy (Tom), Chris, Joseph (Tiffany), Garry, Chase; daughter, Elizabeth Roberts (Thomas) and their son, Richard (Ashley), daughter, Mary Schreiber and her daughter, Millanne; 8 great grandchildren, Owen, Thomas, Kelly, Caleb, Chelsea, Ayden, Jo Jo and Jacob; ex granddaughter-in-laws, Stacey and Keslea ; ex grandson –in- law, Charles; sisters, Marie Kaucher, Dottie Blank, Betty McMahon; brother, Val Schreiber and many nieces and nephews. “Good Morning” Lisa Jones (Al)
Richard served in the US Army in Europe during the Korean War and he retired from Plainview School District, NY. After retiring he moved to Pollocksville and then to New Bern.
The viewing is prior to the service at St. Paul’s. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2:00 at St. Pauls with burial following in St. Joseph Cemetery.
