Robert Mitchell Brydge Sr.

Maryland. Mitchell was a graduate of Kenwood High School, class of ’84. He continued his education

at McDaniel College in Maryland with a BS in Business and a minor in History. Mitchell was a general

contractor and partner in Brydge and Lee Construction of New Bern, NC.

Mitchell was predeceased by his devoted mother, Betty Jo Brydge. Mitchell is survived by his father

Robert L Brydge; his sister Robin Lee Strickland; his wife Aleta Brydge, of 26 years, and their two

children Grace Elisabeth and Mitchell Brydge Jr. Mitchell was a member of Temple Baptist Church,

and The Eastern Carolina Yacht Club. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking,

deep sea fishing, coaching lacrosse and was a passionate saltwater aquarist.

The memorial service will be held at Temple Baptist Church at 4:00 pm on Friday, November 11, 2016.

Visitation from 3:00- 4:00. Immediately following the service, a celebration of life will be held at the

fellowship hall.
