He served his county in the U.S. Marine Corps and he was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife Silva Greene of Cove City; one son, Donald Allen Greene, of Pollocksville; one sister, Dorothy G. Stahl of Sarasota, FL; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
