I knew Roberts since I was eight years old,  Being his younger sister’s best friend I did not spend much time with him,  but when I did, he was always kind and willing to help us with whatever we needed. Years later, when I was in college, I would call my dad and Robert would be hanging out with him playing backgammon or cards and keeping him company.. I’ll always remember his sweet smile.  May his memory be a blessing.

To my dear brother Bobby, my heart aches. Though our time together was scarce, the moments we shared are cherished. I remember leaning my head on both my brothers shoulders in the car as a kid, innocent children embarking on life's journey. Throughout the years Bobby, our conversations were limited, mere fragments of connection. Yet fate allowed us recently a month side by side, in the hospital. It was a trying time. In the depths of hardship, love unveiled its purest form. I held your hand, finding solace in our shared presence. We spent hours looking at nature films, witnessing the wonders of the world you yearned to explore. The simple joy you found in gazing at beautiful images of forests, mountains, and rivers struck me profoundly. It was a reminder that true happiness lies in the simplest of pleasures. As I reflect, my heart resonates with the unshakable belief that you have transcended to a realm far superior to the one you knew. You are in a far better place. In my soul, I feel your liberation and you whisper to me, "Don't Lament, for I am free." Dont lament you once said to me when I was sad. And so, I will honor your wish. I will live for both of us, embracing life's adventures with fervor and gratitude. When I travel in europe, a dream you longed to fulfill, I will raise a glass in your name. Bobby, you are loved and missed. Your spirit is free. Until we meet again.

so sad to hear of Roberts passing. Several dozen years ago, we spent many afternoons playing blitz chess, philosophizing, and listening to records such as Days of Future Passed. He was the best Galaxians player I ever saw, and a vital, multi-talented person who always chose his own path.

Bobby was brilliant, very talented, charming. A beautiful person with a big heart. He loved life, people, nature, books, music, sculpting and art. He taught me so much!  I was blessed to have him in my life. I miss him. Part of you will live with me always. Love K.C.

It is with a heavy heart that I remember Bobby and to celebrate the life of a remarkable man who left an indelible mark on those around him.  As an artist, his creative spirit illuminated our world, capturing emotions  and stories through his unique brush strokes. His dedication to his craft was evident in every stroke of his brush and his works will forever stand as a testament to his passion and talents. 

Beyond his artistic prowess, he was an independent soul who walked his own path with grace and determination. He showed us the power of self-belief and the beauty of carving one's own niche in the world.  His spirit lives on in the art he created the lives he touched and the love he shared with his family and sweet partner, Kathy.  

Kathy went above and beyond to care for Bobby, who she treasured. It was her determination in his care that provided him with time, being taken care of by someone who loved him.  

He will be missed.

Dear Bobby,   we have met in a difficult situation, I was impressed with your strong spirit and your will to live. Although only for a short period, I am glad to have met you. I will never forget you saying to Lisa:  "Don't lament. "
