Ron graduated from Hargrave Military Academy and attended Atlantic Christian College. Ron owned DownEast Computers and Video, and this business allowed Ron the opportunity of helping with the television ministry at First Baptist Church in New Bern. Ron enjoyed photography and anything aviation related. He and his wife spent many happy hours on Ocracoke Island.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jewel K. Watson Snipes; sister, Cynthia A. Snipes; and niece, Jennifer Boring.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 14th at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, 239 Middle St, New Bern, NC with a reception following in the Family Life Center.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Ron’s Memory to First Baptist Church’s television ministry.
