Rosa was born in Glendale, West Virginia on October 12, 1958 to Ralph and Margie Strawn. She was one of seven children, four sisters and two brothers.
She spent most of her adult life in North Carolina. She was a mom of three, two daughters, Melissa Henries of Raleigh, NC and Carla Jo Gray of Beaufort, NC; and one son, Joseph Williams of New Bern, NC. Grandmother of eight and great-grandma to four.
She is survived by her husband and love of her life, Steven Williams of the home. They shared twenty eight years of friendship, love, and laughter.
She is loved dearly and will be missed.
When you think of momma, don't cry. She is whole and happy now. It's not goodbye, just see you soon.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Cotten Funeral Home.
