Sarah Poteat Fuller

Sarah was born on April 9, 1952 in Asheville NC, to the late Robert Poteat and Margie Worley. She was a woman who was all about her family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved being outdoors, enjoying the wildlife, mountains, and beach life. Sarah was a caring and giving individual who always put others before herself. One of her many joys in life was the love of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Joe Fuller; son, Chris Fuller of New Bern, NC; daughter, Dawn Quist (Todd) of New Bern, NC; three grandchildren, Brian Fuller (Jessica) of Pollocksville, NC, Matthew Quist and Jacob Quist of New Bern, NC; two sisters, Loretta Walker (James) of Asheville, NC, and Linda Thomas (Fred) of Leicester, NC; two brother, Ronald Worley (Jewel) of Candler, NC, and Eddie Freeman (Joyce) of Weaverville, NC; and an aunt, Marie Lipe of Arden, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church. The family will hold a visitation at Cotten Funeral Home on Friday, September, 23, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Interment will be at Greenleaf Memorial Park at a later time.
