Growing up Shyanna loved attending church with her grandparents, she loved helping others and making them smile. She had a unique love for being outside, fishing, swimming, vacations, and playing sports. In her time at West Craven High School, she enjoyed playing volleyball. In her years of adolescence, Shyanna went through battles of different sorts and met many lifelong friends and associates that she grew to love while working to improve her life. Shyanna graduated from Craven Community College with her GED and continued her education at Craven Community College to gain a CNA certificate. Shyanna always had a love for children, and her love and appreciation for children only grew when she had her two sons. She always made decisions that were the best possible for her sons, even when they were hard, because of her unconditional love for them. Shyanna had an amazing smile and unforgettable laugh. Shyanna could brighten up any room that she entered and could always ease any tension with her laughter. She will be deeply missed around the family dinner table, on family vacations, and in the moments where laughter is needed. She was deeply loved, and her absence will be felt by all those who called her a friend.
A Celebration of Shyanna's Life will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 5:00 PM at Cotten Funeral Home. Rev. Brent Manning will be officiating the service. The family will receive visitors following the service.
Cotten Funeral Home is honored to serve the family and friends of Shyanna Jayne White.
