Sid was born in Orange, NJ on January 6, 1929. He moved with his family to Williston Park, Long Island, NY in 1939. Sid served in the Army for 2 years in Tokyo in G2 Intelligence.
He married his beloved wife Betty Mayo in 1958 and called Massapequa, NY home for 32 years before moving to Fairfield Harbor, New Bern, NC.
He is survived by his daughters, Ginger Eichhorn Lee (James) of Hobe Sound, FL, Lynda Eichhorn Pillaca (Al) of Winston Salem, NC; grandchildren, Brittany Lee Mullen (Jeffrey), Gregory Lee (Christine), Kristy Lee White (Carlin) and Jamey Lee Lucas (Ryan) all of Florida and Casey Pillaca Mullen (Matthew) of Virginia, Katie and Craig Pillaca of NC; and 9 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Eichhorn; parents, Thomas and Helen Eichhorn; and sister, Alice Skutsch.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a future date.
