She is preceded in death by Husband Benjamin Dees
Theresa is survived by Son Charles B. Dees and his significant other Jackie Jreisat; four Grandchildren William Dees, Ben Dees, Grace Ward, and Mitchell Ward.

Theresa is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She is also involved in organizations such as Golden Age, Red Hat Society, and volunteered as a Grey Lady at CarolinaEast for 20 years.
Services will be held at Greenleaf Memorial Park Thursday November 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends Wednesday November 7, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8 PM at Cotten Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Donor Services P.O. Box 4072 Pittsfield, MA 01202 in honor of her late husband Benjamin Dees.
