I knew Tony when was in Norfolk as a young mechanic. He was always joking and had a smile on his face. I`ll miss the fun we had  during  the aircraft inspections at Cherry Point and Washington State. Tony was a great person to be around and a good leader. I am honored to call him my friend. My heart goes out to his family. My Condolences.

You will be missed.  You were hands down the best supervisor ever.   You were like a work dad to me. Such a kind hearted soul.  You will forever be known as my Coca dealer.  You always made sure we were stocked up on Coca-cola and Reese’s.  I’m going to miss your baking, fish and your stories.   Rest in Heaven Tony.  

I knew Tony as a happy-go-lucky young man at the old NADEP in Norfolk. So sad to hear of his passing. He was so young. Prayers for the family.  May you rest in peace, Tony.

   I’ve known Tony since the early 70’s.  We shared too many good times to list, and he was always one of my closest friends.
   We are all going to miss the man, but we are all better for knowing him.
   Tony, I hear in heaven  that the waters are calm and that there’s no limit on fishing, so cast far and often, my good friend.

I worked with Tony at FRC East. He was honest and dependable and brought a smile to your face with his own smile and positive attitude. My prayers are with the family.

When I first moved moved to New Bern I met Tony.  We had an instant connection. Our familys shared innumerous adventures with the Outdoor Adventure Club.   Over the 20+ plus years  I  have known him you could always count on him for whatever you needed.  You didnt have to wonder if he would show up.  A true friend in ever sense of the word. He was extremely excited to start the next chapter of his life with Ashley and was always updating me on Kylie’s progress.  I have been blessed to be able to call him friend. He will be missed.

He was a kind and gentle soul.  The best boss I ever had.  I used to watch him water his aloe plants  at work and he was always willing to give one of his plants to others.  We used to talk about growing avocados and he had 2 plants in the office.  He was a great listener and a wonderful mentor.  I will miss him dearly.

When I was promoted to E&E, Tony gave me the confidence and encouragement I needed to succeed. Not only was he my coworker, I considered him a friend. My memory of Tony is his smile. He wil be missed.

I have lived on Hickory St. for almost 32 years. Tony lived 3 doors down almost 23 years. I didn't know Tony well, mostly just in passing and an occasional short conversation. However, from my observations, it wasn't hard to tell that Tony was a good man. I observed him spending time with his daughter while growing up and more recently with 3 little girls at his home. Helping them learn to ride bikes and being outside with them. I think he took them camping, fishing,etc on lots of weekends. It would seem that he was enjoying life and sharing it with his loved ones. I am sorry for those he leaves behind because I am confident he was a person worth knowing. I wish I had taken the time to get to know him better. Please accept my sincere condolences. 

So long Tony.  I'll miss seeing you around New Bern.
Tony's Uncle, Mr. Woodall was my track coach at O.F. Smith High School in Chesapeake, VA. 1968-1970.

Tony Ferguson was a man of integrity. Honest, straight forward and a man who had little tolerance for stupidity. When Tony was on the job you knew things would be done right. The quintessential professional. He will be sorely missed at MCAS New River. From a personal perspective I will miss his wise counsel and his quick wit. May God Bless Tony's Family and friends.
