A native of New Bern, she was retired from Maola Milk & Ice Cream Company, and was a lifelong member of Neuse Forest Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy B. Saulter, and her parents, Jack and Gwen Bennett of New Bern. She is survived by her brother, Jack Bennett, Jr.; daughter, Cheryl Lynne Saulter, of Newton, NC and daughter Susan Leigh Flowers, son-in-law Walter Lee Flowers, and grandsons, Lucas Lee Flowers and Trent Lee Flowers, all of New Bern, NC.
Visitation will be Monday, May 28, 2012 at Cotten Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The service will be held at Neuse Forest Presbyterian Church at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, with burial to follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Neuse Forest Presbyterian Church, 2011 Old Cherry Point Road, New Bern, NC 28562.
