He is survived by his wife Hazel C. Deruise; his sons Billy Joe Deruise of Newport, NC and Michael Daniel Deruise of Beaufort, NC; his daughters Lana Marie Bitter of Newport, NC, Myra Sanders of Smyrna, NC and Tammie Deruise McKenna of New Bern, NC; his brother Herbert Deruise of California; his sister Eva D. Duronslet of Philadephia, PA; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 2:00 pm at St. Paul Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
