He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Crawford Tyndall, his mother, Macie Dolan of Humbolt, TN, one son, William Ray Tyndall, Jr. (Rebecca), one daughter, Sherri Tyndall, all of New Bern, one brother, Jimmy Tyndall of New Bern and a step-brother, Barry Dolan (Dee) of Humbolt, TN, and two grandchildren, George R. Hopewell, III, “Trey”, and Abigail Monroe Tyndall. Ray is preceded in death by his father, John Harvey Tyndall and a brother, Johnny Tyndall.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, September 16, 2016 at Cotten Funeral Home. His graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 17, 2016 at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
