Alejandro L Lopez Jr.

Alejandro Lionel Lopez, Jr. passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015 at the age of 58 years. Alejandro was born to Alejandro Lopez, Sr. and Beatriz Hernandez Lopez on August 23, 1956 in San Marcos, Texas. He graduated from Seguin High School in 1975, and then became a quality engineer.

On September 29, 1990 in Cibolo, Texas, he married the love of his life, Sarah J. Garza, who survives him. Also surviving Alejandro are his sons, Alejandro “Alex” Lopez, III and his wife, Susan, of Helotes, TX, and Gregory A. Lopez and wife, Michelle, of San Antonio, TX, and step-daughters, Colleen J. Sanchez and Tabitha Genger of New Braunfels, TX., and seven grandchildren, Jocelyn and Jenna McCurdy, Gavin Lopez, Giuliana Lopez, Faith Lopez, Sienna Lopez, and Skylar Lopez, and one sister, Yolanda Solano and her husband, Pedro Solano of Seguin, TX.

Alejandro was predeceased by his parents, Alejandro, Sr. and Beatriz Lopez, his son, Sean Lopez, and grandson, Jayaden McCurdy.

Alejandro enjoyed hunting, fishing, RVing, camping and celebrating life to the fullest. He loved to be around his beloved pets, Baby and Maddi. He enjoyed sitting around with his family and friends reminiscing about old times. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held from 5-9 PM on Thursday, February 19, 2015, with Rosary at 7 PM, at Zoeller Funeral Home, with funeral services at 1:30 PM on Friday, February 20, 2015, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, New Braunfels. TX.
