Alfredo Valadez

Alfredo R. Valadez went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2016, in New Braunfels TX. He was the son of Contral and Angelita Valadez and was born on July 28, 1930, and was a life-long resident of New Braunfels, Texas. Alfredo married Esperanza Lopez Valadez and have been married for 61 years.

Alfredo served in the US Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. After returning home, he worked at Gypson Material and Richard & Krueger Lumber Yard. He retired from Mission Valley Mills after 30 years of employment.

Alfredo is preceded in death by his parents, Contral and Angelita Valadez; sister, Angelita Cortez and Anita Quiroz; brothers, Alejandro and Simon Valadez. Alfredo is survived by his wife, Esperanza Lopez Valadez; sons, Alex Valadez and wife Penny, Rene Valadez and wife Lucy, Daniel Valadez and wife Sonja; daughters, Amelia Valadez, Yvonne Shore and husband Anthony; Grandchildren, Ian and Shawn Valadez, Emily McNail and husband Kory, Frankie Valadez and Yvonne Moreno, Johnny Valadez and wife Jennifer, Marielys Rendon and husband Chris, Meagan Harris and husband Kyle, and Miranda Shore; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Abigail, Christian Valadez, JJ Alvarado and Kaden Baerwald, Nathan Rendon, Hendrix Harris, Zoey McNail, Zion Valadez, and Nyla Valadez; brothers, Abelardo, Arturo, Anival, and Joe Valadez; sister, Elena Cruz, family members; Kathy Valadez and Debbie Galvan.

A Visitation will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 5:00-9:00pm. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 10:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Saints Peter and Paul Mausoleum.
