Alma L. Homann Rust

Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Rust in 1990. Also preceding her were her parents and two brothers, Eric and Louis Homann.

She is survived by one daughter, Connie Jentsch; two grandsons, Darrell Jentsch and wife Jo-An and their children, Dylan and Haylee and Derrick Jentsch and wife Dana and their children, Madalie and twins, Aiman and Karsten. Her family was her pride and joy. She is also survived by five sisters, Wilma Helmke, Thelma Neumann, Ella Townes, Ruby White and her husband Marlon and Alice Herzog and her husband RB; two sisters-in-law, Iola Canady and Evelyn Kaderli and a number of nieces and nephews.

“Oma” is much loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. We grieve because we have lost the heart of our family but rejoice that she is re-united with her love Elmo. Active till the end she’ll be raking her leaves in Heaven and watching over her family on earth. With much love and respect we say goodbye.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Zoeller Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Zoeller Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow in the Guadalupe Valley Memorial park.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be given to the Wounded Warriors Program.
