

Antonio Jr. was born on June 4, 1945, in New Braunfels, Texas, to Antonio M. and Guadalupe A. Tristan. He married Elida C. Rosales on November 27,1966, and they had 59 wonderful years together.
He is survived by his wife, Elida Tristan; daughters Sonia and her husband, Cruz Gomez, Jr. and Maria (Beca) and her husband, John Robles; and sons Daniel and his wife, Ruth Tristan; Antonio (Tony) Tristan III, and Gabriel Tristan; nine grandchildren, Vanessa Cruz, Phylicia Herevia, Micaela Boyt, Joshua Gomez, Jonathan Gomez, Marisa Gomez, Cruz Gomez III, Eliana Tristan, and Daniel E. Tristan; and five great grandchildren, Diyanna Cruz, Daniela Cruz, Andres & Emilio Cruz, and Leonidas Boyt. Antonio Jr. is also survived by his siblings, Maria Carmona, twin brother, Juan Tristan, Lupe Torres, Olga Hernandez, Blanca Sanchez, Rosa Martinez, and Rene Tristan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Guadalupe Tristan, and brothers, Manuel Tristan and Flavio Tristan.
Antonio Jr. retired after 35 years at Martin Marietta Materials, where he worked as a mechanic of heavy machinery. He was recognized as a loyal and dedicated member of this company with a great work ethic. He was known for his passion for fishing, his smile, his generosity, his sense of humor, and most of all, his great love for his family. He was a selfless father who put his family’s needs before his own.
Services will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa Street, New Braunfels, TX 78130. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 5:00-8:00 pm; and a funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 10:00 am officiated by Pastor Daniel Espinoza of Pearland, Texas.
Interment will be at St. Peter’s and Paul Cemetery at approximately 11:30 am, with a Celebration of Life reception to follow at Kuebler Waldrip Haus Bed & Breakfast, 1620 Hueco Springs Loop Rd., New Braunfels, TX 78132.
