Ina Beth was born in Seminole, TX to Clifton and Dorothy Decker on August 19, 1956. She attended Seminole High School and soon after, married her high school sweetheart, Larry Lane, on August 6, 1977, who then, graduated together from Baylor University. Her life passion has been people and
meeting them with her whole heart as it flowed with the love of Christ. She actively sought out ways to work with children wherever she went and in whatever way presented. Professionally, she found a way by teaching kindergarten at Mittelstädt Elementary for 10 years, receiving the teacher of the year award
along the way in 2005. Beth gave herself to every children's ministry she came close to, from New York to Texas and across the world, from Dubai to Uganda. In 2009 she visited Uganda, following her feet to the work that she was destined for. She has loved the Ugandan people. Over the past 16 years, she has traveled to Uganda, making many visits to meet their various needs and, most of all, creating deep and significant relationships.
Ina Beth Lane taught goodness, honesty, and strength by her way of being. She recognized the value of every human being by her way of giving. And she understood life's requirement of offering our best by her way of meeting the world. Her love, born out of Christ's, is big. Her spirit, resurrected, continues with us until we fully see one another again.
Beth is preceded in death by her son, David Lane, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Decker, her brother, Rodney Decker, and sister, Tyra Manning.
Beth is survived by Larry Lane, her children, Benjamin and Chloe Lane, Emily Lane, Luke and Megan Lane, and her grandchildren, Miles and Levi.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, September 15th at Oakwood Church. A reception will follow at the Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Zoeller Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Uganda Mission Fund at Oakwood Church.
