Betty Cline Bombei

Betty Jean Bombei, of New Braunfels, Texas was called home by our Lord on the 16th of June, 2010 at age 73. Betty was born to Katie and Otis Cline on December 5, 1936 in Clayton, Indiana. Grandma, as she was so dearly called by her four grandsons, was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, LC, Earl, and Carlos Cline. Left to cherish her memory are, her loving and devoted husband, Robert “Bob” of New Braunfels, Texas, daughter, Lu Ann Hodson and husband Hollis of Corpus Christi, Texas, son, Darrell and wife Terri of Floresville, Texas, and son, Gary and wife Penny of Lebanon, Indiana. She was especially blessed with four grandsons, Dan Bombei of San Antonio, Dave Bombei, USCG, in Seattle, Washington, Ryan Hodson, of Bryan, Texas, and Kyle Hodson, of Rockport, Texas. Cherishing her memory also include her sisters, Barbara Hammons of Plainfield, Indiana, and Judy Mathis and husband Matt of Tallahassee, Florida. She will be remembered for her many talents. Her greatest joys were her painting and art work.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 on Friday, June 18, 2010 at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa Street, New Braunfels, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, June 19, 2010, Saturday at the Zoeller Funeral Home Chapel followed by interment at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Pall bears are sons, Darrell and Gary, and her four grandsons, Dan, Dave, Ryan and Kyle. Her family and friends feel blessed to have been a part of her life. Her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of her family and many friends.
