Catherine S. Ennis joined our Heavenly Father on February 12, 2014 at the age of 63 after a long illness. Cathy was a loving mother and grandmother. She was born July 1, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas. Cathy worked as a hotel manager, baker, newspaper delivery person and CNA at a nursing home until forced to retire due to illness.
Cathy is preceded in death by her father, Frederick W. Travis. She is survived by her mother, Florence Travis; sons, Ben Stapera and Anthony Martinez; grandchildren, Jonathan, Joshua, Trevor, and Emma; brothers and sisters, Fred Travis Jr. and wife Christine, Linda Shrum and husband Denny, Carol Bertrand, Nancy Mizera and husband Don, Bruce Travis, Tracy Travis, Ellen Bueche and husband Ron, Amy James and husband Michael, and Kevin Travis. She also leaves behind 21 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa Street, New Braunfels, Texas, on Monday, February 17, 2014 from 6 to 9 PM. Funeral services will take place at Zoeller Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 10 AM with interment to follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park, 2951 S. State Highway 46, New Braunfels, Texas.
