Heaven welcomed home a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished son at the age of 54. A man of deep faith, he lived his life grounded in his love for God, his family, and his country. Of all the roles he held, being a father brought him the greatest joy and purpose. He was a steady mentor and positive influence to many young people at the high school level, always willing to guide, encourage, and support. Known for his great sense of humor, his passion for baseball and football, his impressive knowledge of both current and historical events, and his knack for trivia, he brought energy and insight to every conversation. A competitive gamer and skilled chess player, he loved a good challenge. Even in recent years, as he faced physical limitations, his strength of spirit never wavered—he remained a dedicated husband and an ever-present, loving father.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Beth Wallen; son, Brayden Wyatt Wallen (Cibolo, TX); mother & stepfather Dorothy Whaley & John “Jack” Whaley, II (Melbourne, FL); father, Phillip Wayne Wallen & partner Helena Sliney (West Palm Beach, FL); sister, Melissa Kuzak, and husband, Frank; nephews and niece, Brandon Kuzak, Nathan Kuzak, and Sara Grace Kuzak (Viera, FL); mother & father-in-law, David Gee and Grace Ann (St. Albert, Alberta); brother-in-law, Chadwick Gee and wife Charmaine; nephews, Keynan Gee and Jaxxon Gee (St. Albert, Alberta). He was preceded in death by his grandparents; nephew, Teryck Gee, and aunts and uncles.
Public visitation will begin 1:00 PM Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the Funeral Home and will continue until service time.
