

Cindy Danette Forsyth was born in Wichita, Kansas on March 1st, 1958 to parents Jack Hugh Miller and Sandra Sue Miller. She attended West High in Wichita from 1973 to 1976, then Wichita State University from 1977 to 1979 studying Geology, followed by the University of Tulsa from 1980 to 1981 studying Geochemistry. Cindy worked for Texaco in Tulsa and Denver doing Geologic Interpretation of Oil and Gas Plays from 1980 to 1985; and IBM as an Oil Industry Specialist from 1986 to 1994.
Cindy and Vic Forsyth were married January 21, 1989 They raised two daughters, Stephanie Kathleen Sutterfield (husband Damon Sutterfield) and Amanda Leigh Forsyth Jayson (husband Jeff Jayson). They moved to Houston, Texas in 1994 with family on Vic’s Job transfer with Amerada Hess. They moved to Wimberley, Texas in 2010 on retirement. In 2022 they moved to Garden Ridge, Texas to be closer to family.
Even though Cindy was always stricken with poor health, she gave everything for her family, both in Texas and Kansas and continue to love and care for them to her death on May 13th, 2024. Her hobbies included doll collecting, international travel and teaching young kids.
She will be missed but never forgotten.
