Don Morgan Hudgens, 81, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 5, 2017. Don was born in Belfalls, Texas to James Howard Hudgens and Edna Morgan Hudgens on December 5, 1935. Don is survived by his wife, Kay Clayton Hudgens of New Braunfels, Tx; sons, Scott Hudgens, of New Braunfels, TX., and Mark Hudgens and wife, Debbie, of Montgomery, Tx., grandchildren, Lauren Hudgens and Sara Hudgens, both of Houston, TX, Kyle Hudgens of San Antonio, Tx, Matthew Hudgens and Allison Hudgens, both of Montgomery, TX; and one great-grandchild, Kai Lucke of Katy, TX, and one brother, James Howard Hudgens of Salado, TX, along with many numerous nieces and nephews.
Don served his country and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in December, 1961. He then worked as a pipe salesman in the oil industry until his retirement.
A Memorial Services will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 11 AM. A committal service with full military honors will be held at a later date at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, TX.
