She was born in Solms, Texas on July 23, 1924 to Alfred and Emilie Hildebrand. She was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church. Each Tuesday she met with her quilting friends at church.
She is survived by her daughters Carol Gould, Joyce Voss and husband Ken and a son Jerry Schubert and wife Penny. She has three grandchildren Kieth Gould, Jason Schubert and Heidi Voss.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Schubert, sisters; Velma Mitchell and Hattie Nowotny and her brother Gilbert Hildebrand.
Dorothy will forever be in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 3:00 pm. The family asks in lieu of flowers please make a contribution to Peace Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society in her memory.
