Evelyn Krause Wiederstein

Evelyn Krause Wiederstein passed away on April 6th after a long illness in the company of her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Maurice Wiederstein and her son Dale Wiederstein and survived by her daughter Carolyn Wiederstein Carhart and her husband John Carhart of Dallas, and granddaughters Kimberly Griffis of Evergreen, CO, Laura Carhart-Stoudt of Dallas, TX, Mackenzie Carhart-Kiefer of New Braunfels TX, Dawn Koepp of La Vernia, TX, and three great grandchildren.

For many years Evelyn was the office manager for the family business, New Braunfels Electric and later worked for New Braunfels Smokehouse for a number of years. Her favorite pastime in her retirement years was playing sudoku, gardening, and keeping up after her great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Thursday at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 12:00 Noon. A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park with Chaplain Emmanuel Carpenter officiating.
