Filimon Farias, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away, Saturday, August 19, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born to Alfredo C. Farias and Jesusa Alva Farias on June 7, 1929 in New Braunfels. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Anita Farias; daughters, Rosa F. Caballero, Ann Medina, and Grace Juarez and husband Tomas; brother, Norberto Farias; 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Hortencia Carrillo; son-in-law, Mateo Caballero, Jr.; 4 sisters and 7 brothers.
Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Thursday at Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Friday at Zoeller Funeral Home with Deacon Carlos Serna officiating. Interment will follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
