He retired from Exxon after 41 years of service and has been a New Braunfels resident for 13 years.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley J. Rogers; daughters, Cynthia Rogers and husband Richard Crumpton and Jeri Rogers Krauss and husband Lynn Krauss; three grandchildren; one great-grand child; two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Zoeller Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in New Braunfels. Interment will follow in the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
The family has requested that memorial donations be given to First Baptist Church New Braunfels or the American Cancer Society.
