Gordon Paul Gautreaux

Gordon Paul Gautreaux, of New Braunfels, Texas passed away on Friday April 15, 2022 at the age of 71. Gordon was born on May 9, 1950 in Morgan City, Louisiana to Joseph Howard Gautreaux and Dolores Purgley Gautreaux. Gordon was the second of four children. He married his wife Judith on June 11, 1988, in Webb City, Missouri. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in Lawton, Oklahoma and graduated from Lawton High School in 1968. Gordon served his country with honor in the U.S Air Force from 1968-1972. He later worked for Peerless Manufacturing in Dallas, Texas.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Maridee Kennedy. He is survived by his wife, Judith of New Braunfels, Texas; brothers, Clayton Gautreaux and wife Lori of Kemp, Texas; Joseph Gautreaux and wife Cindy of Dallas, Texas. Gordon is also survived by five children, Tracy Villareal and husband Rene of Portland, Oregon; Scott Mannhard and wife Jennifer of Portland, Oregon; Eric Gautreaux and wife Christine of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; Jason Gautreaux and wife Brandie of Forney, Texas; and Morgan Howry and husband Nate of New Braunfels, Texas; 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Committal Service with military honors and internment of ashes for Gordon will be held Monday, May 9, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Fort Sill National Cemetary 2468 NE Jake Dunn Road, Elgin, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
