Henry Gregory Storrs

Henry Gregory Storrs passed away on September 15, 2024 at the age of 66. He was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on April 27, 1958 to Dr. Henry Goodwin Storrs and Mary Louise Storrs (now Mary Moutrey). Though he lived for several years in Washington state, California, Colorado, and ultimately Texas, for training, to be near family, and for work, he always remained in his heart and Alaskan. He worked for several years in Alaska as an electrician and was a member of the IBEW. In California and Texas he started small businesses with his wife, Megan.

Greg was preceded in death by his father in 2007. He is survived by his mother, Mary Moutrey, sisters Debra Kessler and Pamela & brother-in-law Jim Winston, all of Florida, and brother Randy Storrs and sister-in-law Barbara, of California. Jim Wright and his son Cody are extended family who shared as deeply the joy of Greg’s life and the pain of our loss. Greg is survived as well by his beloved nephews Zach and Nathan Christensen, and niece Brianne Cooper.

Greg was married to Faith Clark from 1980 to 1985, and to Yi Zhang (“Megan”) from 2006 until 2022.

Funeral services for Greg will be held October 18, 2024 at Zoeller Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Texas, at 11:00 a.m.
